Summer Touch Rugby
Summer touch rugby meet-ups are on Thursdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:30am at Duckpond Field at Thorpe Park
Touch rugby is free, no registration, no experience necessary and is open to all – youth (must be at least 8 years old), High School and adult. Rugby Family friendly.
Find out about rugby by getting to know the rules all summer (real rugby is generally a winter sport).
It is “touch” rugby rather than tackle, so it is easy, safe and a good introduction to the greatest sport in the world.
To get to Duck Pond Field take Aztec St. north off Cherry Ave. until it dead ends into parking lot.
Interested in trying rugby?
Whether you have previous experience on the pitch or are brand new to the game, you are welcome to join the Lady Sharks. We start from the basics so that those who have never even held a rugby ball can learn about the beautiful game of rugby.
Our practices run mid-August through the beginning of May, and are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm, in all weather conditions. Our practices are held at NAU's Upper South Fields.
